The antimicrobial coating BactoAttaQ® can be applied to almost all absorbent and solid surfaces and is ideally suited for both private and commercial use due to its simple application method. BactoAttaQ® offers particularly high benefits in all premises with regular transit traffic and on surfaces with many contact points such as door handles, handrails and work surfaces. This makes BactoAttaQ® especially attractive for companies and public facilities that want to offer the best possible hygiene protection despite high visitor flows.
Textiles:
BactoAttaQ® for absorbent surfaces: fabrics and upholstery, woven fabrics (natural and synthetic, woven and non-woven), leather (natural and synthetic). Innovative mode of action
BactoAttaQ® was originally developed in 2018 as an antimicrobial surface protection against multi-resistant bacteria such as MRSA to optimize hygiene standards in care facilities and hospitals in the long term. Due to its special technology and mode of action, BactoAttaQ® was ultimately also awarded the 2019 Innovation Prize. In order to expand the application possibilities of BactoAttaQ®, further tests by recognized German and international laboratories and institutes followed. These showed that BactoAttaQ® is able to detect up to 99.999 % of all microorganisms (such as bacteria, fungi, algae, yeasts) but also special viruses (such as the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (COVID-19 pathogen), the TGEV
Coronavirus and Influenza A (H1N1)) are continuously reduced for a period of more than 1 year.

Protection between cleaning cycles
BactoAttaQ® forms a protective layer of tiny peaks of positively charged nitrogen molecules. These attract the negatively charged cell walls of the microorganisms. Contact with the spikes destroys the cell walls of the germs.
